Update on Bryan's Condition

Bryan is still under heavy sedation. The doctors xray'd his neck to make sure there was no damage. His neck looked good so they removed his neck brace for the first time and shaved him... still not awake but looking more like our handsome Bryan.

Keep the prayers coming!

Dear friends,

Tonight Bryan is resting under heavy sedation after suffering seizures this morning. The CT results showed that the blood is absorbing as it should be.

The weekend has brought family to visit and they have been sharing stories of support from all over the country & world. We are amazed, humbled, and so blessed.

Thank you does not seem to be enough and we hope to one day find the words.

Keep the prayers coming!

Contrary to our hopes and news reports, Bryan has not opened his eyes.

We will provide accurate updates to his condition here on this website.

The Stows

Hello dear friends!

Bryan's ventilator was removed and he had a trach put in, which should make him more comfortablel.

Tonight they are moving his feeding tube to his stomach. A CT scan was done about an hour ago and we are hoping for positive results.

Please, keep the prayers coming!

Hi guys,

So amazing all the love and support!! There have been no more seizures for a couple days so the drs have been slowly lowering the sedation and hopefully it will be all out of his system tonight. Once it's out of his system, he can be examined and hopefully (praying) he responds to commands. Or better yet, wakes up!! Please keep the prayers coming!!

Hey Team Bryan,

So a current update: The doctors want to limit visitors, noise and physical contact with Bryan. They're wanting to keep his brain calm and just...quiet...to see how that works...all while fluctuating his sedation every two hours. That way the neurologists can get a better reading of brain activity.  Fever down.

Keep the prayers coming!

His doctor said he's still under heavy sedation but his seizures have somewhat subsided. In a few days they want to slowly take him off sedation. He will remain on high doses of seizure meds until there are no more seizures.
