Still no brain seizures as the sedation is slowly coming out of Bryan's system. The doctors are hoping this coming week to really be able to examine him for voluntary responsiveness. Up until now all movements have been involuntary.

He still looks great and has even started to snore again! It's like music to our ears!

Stow Family,

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Bryan and I would just like to remind you that God is not asleep and His Vengeance will lead the individual's that commited this heinous act to justice. Sometimes terrible things happen to good people for a cause far greater than our understanding and sometimes things like this happen to show Miracles do happen if you hold onto hope and believe and Bryan is the testament to this. May God bless you and your family always...

Thank you for sharing. This is great news! We will keep Bryan and the family in our prayers. I do hope this will be the week that he open his eyes. This must be so hard on you. Please know that there are people all over the world that all pulling for you. Everything I read about Bryan points that he is a very strong man. I have a great feeling that he will pull out of this. It's just going to take time. However when he does and he is able to I think there should be a huge party at AT&T park for him . I know I am not the only one that would love to meet him in person. I feel like he is part of our family.

Praise to you Lord Jusus Christ.

Bryan, there's something for you to do, next Sunday is Mothers Day, it would be nice for you the give your mom and early best ever Mothers's Day ever and that is to wake up and tell her how much you love her.

Having an older brother I know how brothers love to tease their sisters. I'm sorry Erin and Bonnie but being a sister I'm giving Bryan permission to tease the both of you.

Thank you, Stow Family, for the latest update on Bryan's condition. It's so nice to come to this site and see the community is still active even though it's now been over a month since the attack on Bryan. Some of you may even have noticed that one of the detectives in the LAPD NE Division, Det Pjai Morris, left a comment on the previous update thread. It's easy to see that Bryan is no ordinary person when even detectives who've never met the man are touched deeply by his case.

Speaking of Bryan's case: it's obviously not an easy investigation for those guys at NE Division -- most likely at this point they are stuck waiting for a Crimestoppers tip or an eyewitness to come forward due to the lack of surveillance video or forensic crime scene evidence -- so those of you inclined toward prayer, perhaps you'd also pray for those good detectives. It's tough for a detective to have an open case with few ways to advance it. Myself, I'll just say that I know how hard you guys work and I can see that this is a challenging investigation with few leads, and I'm hoping each day that you guys show up to work and see that light blinking on your phone that will change the course of the investigation for the better. Meanwhile, to Bryan Stow, let me just say: hang in there!

I know that you can't possibly read all of these, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I know the struggle with the wait. I have been there myself with someone I love, though his was an anoxic brain injury, and if I am not mistaken, Bryan's is probably a TBI. Waiting for all those meds to flush out of the system can seem endless. Jsut be there, talk, read to him, play recordings of the kids talking to them as they normally would (if they aren't allowed in the room). I told my partner that I wasn't going to shut up until he woke up, and I knew he HAD to be sick of me talking to him.

We are thinking about you. Wake up Bryan, your babies are waiting.

Snoring is good! I think it means he's thinking of waking up. Did he snore before? This could be a really, really good sign. Maybe he's just resting now, instead of being in a coma! I'm taking this to be a good thing, with all the positive thoughts I can send, along with HUGS , and LOTS of LOVE to Bryan and his family. You have been so strong. I really admire you for never giving up. GOD BLESS you all. Can't wait for the next update, that says, BRYAN'S AWAKE!!!!!

Ann..
I am also a parishoner at St Joseph's in Capitola and I was very shocked when I first heard what happen to Bryan. Wearing a team jersey is a show of loyalty to the team...not a target for attack. I pray he continues to recover..love the comment on his snoring 'music to our ears,' ....and will be, once again, reunited with his family. I love these words by the Dalai Lama - words which we all should try to emulate: We live very close together. So, our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them. Amen!
God bless, Ann

Just stopping by to read comments. What a good crew here. I really hope today will be a good day for the Stow family. It's going to be a beautiful day today in the SF Bay Area, and maybe soon Bryan will be well enough to be moved to a hospital or recovery facility up here.

Hey Bryan, Aubrey Huff broke an 0-20 streak last night with a game-winning home run for the Giants. Every slump must eventually end, and we're all hoping that today is the day you get that big hit.... heck, maybe just a bloop single, a chance to open your eyes. If not... well, as Huff has shown, even the best bats go cold at times. But your team believes in you! So if today isn't your day, just take a seat on the bench and rest for a spell, and then come back stronger to take some more swings tomorrow.

Update July 21, 2014
Hello Bryan, Listening to older Queensryche and thought of you. Your parents continue to amaze and teach us all what family and community are. Many good families in world and glad you are a part of one, just as I. Ongoing perseverance is remarkable and something anyone reading your updates will learn from. We are all here for encouragement, prayer and to also learn on what an amazing family we are blessed to have met.

Curious if you are listening to any new tunes or what you enjoy when not listening to our San Francisco Giants continue to have great season.

Thank you Stowe family for the beautifully detailed updates. All of Byran's supporters know how busy you are so no need to apologize as we are the ones who are in awe of your spirit, faith and wonderful hearts.

I am sure I speak for many that all of you hopefully take time out just for yourselves to renew your spirit and observe something new that is there for you to enjoy. Make the time and smell the summer and honor all the strength you give to yourself. All of you are inspirational.

Love the Salazar's from the Central Coast :)

Hello, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam feedback? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can recommend? I get so much lately it's driving me insane so any help is very much appreciated.

Double hugs as I don't think my initial post went through. Bryan, you are truly an inspiration and are loved by so many, myself included. That goes for your awesome family, too. I am so sorry to hear about the seizures--how scary :( Please take care and I am also so thankful that the trial of the trial is behind you all. God Bless all of you.
Update July 21, 2014
Hi Bryan!
You are always in my thoughts and prayers and best wishes. I greatly appreciate your updates. I even had prayers petitions for you at St Joseph Church in Mountain View where I live. I will start another prayer petition very shortly for you and your family. You have a loving and caring family. God bless you and keep you in his care as well as your wonderful family!

Dear Stow Family,
I followed the trial and prayed for more than you got. I continue to keep Bryan, your family, and friends and caregivers in my daily prayers. Those seizures sound very frightening, especially the after effects. It seems to be one step forward, two steps back, like so many other things in life. You are all awesome for what you do every day and night, making all the difference in Bryan's life. Stay strong!
Much admiration and love, Julia Winston
Update July 21, 2014
Hello to the Stow family: the prayers never cease for all of you. Bryan and you have been through such a long horrible journey, I am sure you wish you could just wake up from this nightmare. I thank you for this update.....there are many of us out here who continue the prayer circles and the prayer vigils....thank you for sharing this recent event. I truly wish there was something I could say that would ease the pain and the heartache. God Bless You All.
Keep fighting Bryan.......you have a lot of prayer warriors on your side.....you are a gem ! ! !
Update July 21, 2014
Hello to all your family. What incredible challenges Bryan, and you, are facing. Last fall, I started the Marty Lurie Fan Club; first as a joke, but it quickly evolved into a way to raise money for Bryan's fund...it just seemed like the perfect way for Giants fans to contribute to our larger community. I'm always happy to hear about the various fundraisers. Good luck to you as you travel this road.
Best, Billie Forer

Continue my prayers for Bryan and the family. I just
Still can't believe that a human or humans could do that
To another person!.. Is totally un forgivable!
May God continue to give you strength and bless you!
Update July 21, 2014
Thank you for the update. I hope that Bryan and the family know how large is his community of suppoters. If there is anything that we can do to support Bryan and his family just say the word!
Update July 21, 2014
Thank you for sharing and yea we know you been kinda of busy so don't ever feel the need to say sorry. It's great that Bryan will be taken care now wit the settlement I would assume it makes your parents and (you two) feel better know he is going to get the care he needs and should have. Not sure if you will be able to put his behind you but, it can move to the side or the back of your mind and your family can maybe somehow focus on their own life for a while. No amount of $ or time serve from the SOB will change anything. Bryan has a new normal. Try to break the OCD if you can. IT's a nightmare. Get him help for that. Usually when they get on mental disorder then more come to follow, keep an look out. Give him lots of love and no matter what and where your family is being though of
