Thank you, Stow Family, for the latest update on Bryan's condition. It's so nice to come to this site and see the community is still active even though it's now been over a month since the attack on Bryan. Some of you may even have noticed that one of the detectives in the LAPD NE Division, Det Pjai Morris, left a comment on the previous update thread. It's easy to see that Bryan is no ordinary person when even detectives who've never met the man are touched deeply by his case.

Speaking of Bryan's case: it's obviously not an easy investigation for those guys at NE Division -- most likely at this point they are stuck waiting for a Crimestoppers tip or an eyewitness to come forward due to the lack of surveillance video or forensic crime scene evidence -- so those of you inclined toward prayer, perhaps you'd also pray for those good detectives. It's tough for a detective to have an open case with few ways to advance it. Myself, I'll just say that I know how hard you guys work and I can see that this is a challenging investigation with few leads, and I'm hoping each day that you guys show up to work and see that light blinking on your phone that will change the course of the investigation for the better. Meanwhile, to Bryan Stow, let me just say: hang in there!

Fantastic news! I continue to send healing thought to Bryan and sending prayers of love, strength and patience to his family, friends, his beautiful kids, all the medical personnel involved with his recovery and also all his brother and sister EMT's out there who continue to do the awesome work you do. Every once in a while a tragedy happens to a stranger and my heart becomes fully involved with this person. I am wearing one of Brian's bracelets and will continue until he is home. I have been praying for healing for Brian and strength for his family every day. Prayers are very powerful. Thanks for the updates on Brian's condition; love it when they are positive updates.

I am truely praying for Bryan!! He is an amazing fighter and its obvious that God is not ready to bring him home yet!! Seems like is on a slow recovery and I'm very happy to see your updates on his progress. Keep fighting Bryan, you have people waiting that love you and want to be with you!!

I know that you can't possibly read all of these, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I know the struggle with the wait. I have been there myself with someone I love, though his was an anoxic brain injury, and if I am not mistaken, Bryan's is probably a TBI. Waiting for all those meds to flush out of the system can seem endless. Jsut be there, talk, read to him, play recordings of the kids talking to them as they normally would (if they aren't allowed in the room). I told my partner that I wasn't going to shut up until he woke up, and I knew he HAD to be sick of me talking to him.

We are thinking about you. Wake up Bryan, your babies are waiting.

Snoring is good! I think it means he's thinking of waking up. Did he snore before? This could be a really, really good sign. Maybe he's just resting now, instead of being in a coma! Hi Bryan. We are rejoicing at the good news. This is the one time snoring is music to the ears. We believe, WE BELIEVE!! more good news is coming. Each day as you progress and more thoughts and healing prayers are being lifted up for you, you are the one who is bringing so many people together, and I give thanks to our LORD for this blessing.

I check the blog every day, and say a prayer before and after reading it. I have my Stow bracelet on 24/7, and say a prayer several times a day when it reminds me.

All that praying has made me feel so close to Bryan and his family, and I love reading the comments here! We will never give up...we will be patient and persistent!

I am also a parishoner at St Joseph's in Capitola and I was very shocked when I first heard what happen to Bryan. Wearing a team jersey is a show of loyalty to the team...not a target for attack. I pray he continues to recover..love the comment on his snoring 'music to our ears,' ....and will be, once again, reunited with his family. I love these words by the Dalai Lama - words which we all should try to emulate: We live very close together. So, our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them. Amen!

I was so saddened by the news. I am thankful out of this awfulness that the beauty of many people outshined with so much love and support. I believe in prayer and faith. Hey Bryan, Aubrey Huff broke an 0-20 streak last night with a game-winning home run for the Giants. Every slump must eventually end, and we're all hoping that today is the day you get that big hit.... heck, maybe just a bloop single, a chance to open your eyes. If not... well, as Huff has shown, even the best bats go cold at times. But your team believes in you! So if today isn't your day, just take a seat on the bench and rest for a spell, and then come back stronger to take some more swings tomorrow.
