Merry Christmas Eve everyone!! Hard to believe that Christmas is here, and 2012 is right around the corner. We feel so blessed that we are able to spend Christmas as a family. We take this time to reflect on what the meaning of Christmas is and ever yone of you have shown us the true meaning. It's family, compassion, it's giving and sharing without expecting or wanting anything in return. We are continually humbled by the huge hearts of the people who have supported Bryan, Tyler and Tabitha, and our family.
We want to thank everyone for their kind words and support in regards to the interview on Rock Center. It was a hard decision to make to do the interview but we were assured that we were making the right decision after asking Bryan more then once if he was OK with it. Every decision we have made up until now has been in Bryan's best interest, and it's comforting to know that we can now make decisions WITH Bryan.

After a couple weeks of noticing a change in Bryan's alertness, it was discovered that he had a bladder infection. He's on antibiotics and is doing better but is back to being tube fed until his swallowing gets better. We have been given the OK to give him mashed potatoes and gravy tomorrow during dinner. The bladder infection affected his therapies but he's now back on track. We have decorated his room, which helps him remember what holiday is coming up. His little tree is covered in beautiful ornaments that were sent to him, as well as ones Tyler and Tabitha made with him.

We want to take a moment also to say Happy Birthday to Matt Lee, who would have been 27 today. Not a day goes by that one of us doesn't think about you and we wear your bracelet right next to Bryan's.
We picked this song for our update because the lyrics are truly inspirational and beautiful. It's not the most touching version of this song, but it's for sure the most suiting for our heavy metal lover, Bryan.

From the Stow family to your family....we wish you all a safe and VERY Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you all! I saw the interview and it made me so sad to see Bryan having to go through all this. The comments made by insensitive and ignorant people on certain websites are disgusting. Don't they think that the family has been through enough without constantly blaming the victim or his friends.

I hope that 2012 continues to be a year for you all to move forward. I hate seeing Bryan suffer and his family suffer. You all deserve more than this.

Due to my daughters illness, it's been a while since we've written, but we still try to check in often to read about Bryan's progress. She is much, much better and gave me quite a scare, but I wanted to let you know through it all, she kept Bryan in her nightly prayers. Sending hugs out to the entire "Stowy" clan today and throughout the coming year!

Saw the story on Rock Center with Brian Williams and thought everyone did a wonderful job in sharing Bryan's story and sending a message to those responsible for even having to DO this interview. I doubt they have any remorse but maybe it'll help the other idiots out there who think violence and hatred is the way to go!! All of us here are thinking of all of you there and wish you "CHEERS" for a happy and a better NEW Year!
With love,

This senseless act of violence over one of Americas greatest past times truly is sad. I am so touched by this story and feel your pain and wish I could help you. I can pray for you and offer my deepest love. If there is a petition to be signed, contact me! If there is a site for donations, send it to me!
God speed and Blessings upon you all.

I just wanted to wish Bryan, Dave, and any other Stow Family dad's a Happy Father's Day. I didn't say this in my initial post because I admit to just being plain happy Bryan was home but I completely and utterly agree that the Dodgers (and any other MLB team) should and easily could be donating a whole lot of money. As someone else said, it is not about blame but compassion and doing the right thing for someone who was inexpressibly, horribly wronged. Sending hugs and best wishes always to all of you Stow Family.

Thank you for the updates! I listen to Bill Carroll on KFI here in So Calif, and appreciate the dedication he has shown to keeping all of us informed on Bryan's progress. As a mother of 4 sons, I cannot image the turmoil the family has gone through. God will give you all strength to support Bryan on this journey. Continued prayers for all!

Sorry, Bryan not Brian. Donation made and best wishes to all.

Sorry, Bryan not Brian (embarassed). But I made a donation. Best wishes for all involved.

MLB and or SF Giants or LA Dodgers should be helping this family to return Brian to the center that was helping him. The family insurance is running out but If these teams can pay players what breaks down to $100,000 or more PER GAME, they should be able to get together and help Brian Stow get the very best care possible! That doesn't mean they have to admit any culpability. They should do the RIGHT and MORAL thing to do and set an example to other Big Business. The good press would benifit them more than the money Brian needs.
I'm ashamed for MLB, LAD, and SFG right now.
I don't have much but I'm making a donation!

To Bryan and his loving family: You are often in my thoughts and prayers. Although the attack and repercussions are sickening, reading the kind words from people across the nation (and around the world), gives me hope and serves as a reminder that there is more good than bad in this world. Bryan, you and your family are inspiring; you are all representatives as to what goodness & bravery are - you bring out the compassion in all of us and the realization of what is truly important. Stay strong.

God Bless you Bryan. May His healing presence be with you and your family. God will see that each day gets better and better.

Hello..
So glad that Bryan is HOME...it will seem like a huge undertaking, but I promise each day will get easier, and you will find in the long run, it is easier to have him in the next room than in a facility...there are many, many programs, especially with his disability, that are available for him...please check with your local social services programs, they will lead you in the right direction, and don't take no for an answer..there is help, and caregiving help for free as well...WELCOME HOME BRYAN!!! There is NO place like HOME...

When a person gets hurt in your stadium, it would be kind and right that the host should help. It is what courtesy is all about. Hey, it wasn't the Dodgers' fault, but it happened in their stadium. You'd think the Dodger players could fork out a fraction of their millions. Even the Giants' players could help with the costs. A fancy "Welcome Back" celebration doesn't pay the bills. Talk is cheap. I guess we have to rely on the working man, that doesn't make the millions. We are our brother's keeper.
Where do I send money?
God bless you brother,
Mike in Los Angeles

Brian, your in our prayers, your such an inspiration! I'm a pain management nurse and you are so strong especially after what you have endured and you are doing better than alot of my patients do without having the trama you have had. To the family of Brian, you can try to claim total disability for him then they should pay all medical. SSI/Disability ins. God bless you all!

Bryan,

You should be so proud of the progress you've made, it's really unbelievable. You've come so fantastically far- the strides you've made are nothing short of astonishing. I can't wait to see how much more tremendous progress you make, and I believe, with a little help from your family, friends, and the man upstairs, absolutely anything and everything is possible. Wishing you the best- you're an inspiration to millions upon millions of people out there.

I wanted to personally invite Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and savior. Jesus is the Great Physician. Only the power of the living God can restore you whole and healed. I don't know your faith, but if Jesus could bring you back, whole and healed, would you accept him into your heart? What if it were true? All the miracles He preformed on the sick and broken? Would you believe it was possible for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
